EXTRAXI is a Latin word. It comes from the third declension verb extraho, extrahere. It means to draw out, to extract. (source: Cassell’s Latin Dictionary) Therefore, EXTRAXI literally means, “I have drawn out” or “I have extracted.” This is a fitting term for a consulting company working in the extractive industry.
